Gun show stupidity ..........

I have a friend who told me all of the AR receivers would be disappearing, so I tried to tell him its just dealers were taking advantage of our political climate, this is part of the story ......
I went to the Berea Ohio gun show a couple weeks back, so another friend could get his first AR receiver. When we got to the show I saw my buddy Paul, an all-around gun nut. He told me the AR receivers were going for 375 + tax, I was pissed, I knew these dealers were suckering the masses. He told me he bought one and a kit, because the AR stuff would soon be gone. I told him he was nuts for spending that kind of money on a $65.00 receiver (cast), he told me I was a fool, I have what I need so it doesn't matter, so the next week he bought another one and another kit, the next week he bought another kit. So in 3 weeks he got burned 3 times as far as I was concerned. At the first show I told him that the receivers would be $150.00 in a month or two, so we bet 5 bucks.
Well today he called me to tell me a store was selling DMPS forged receivers for $150.00, wow, I was right again!!!!! When I answered the phone he said " I owe you 5 bucks......lol.......
The point I'm trying to make is watch what you spend during a frenzy, your gonna get burned if you don't ............
