  2. I really do not think anything will come about this, If it does I will be surprised because these slime balls have a way of
slipping away. I would be in favor of a public flogging and tarring to get the rest of the assholes in line.

    1. Well, I'm not getting my hopes up, I'm already pissed off over the FCC stealing the internet just before 2016..........

  4. Lois Lerner may be the 'sacrificial goat' in the IRS scandal but it's unlikely she will get more than a slap on the wrist. The DHS/NSA/FBI etc. etc. have all the dirt they need to keep enough congresscritters in line so that the criminals in Obama's administration can operate essentially unchecked. On rare occasions one of them is offered up for a wrist slap to con the sheeple into believing accountability exists but it's all theatre.

  6. Actually the War Tribunal at Nuremberg for Nazi crimes saw quite a few defendants hung for their conduct. It's true that a number of Germans deserving of the noose were spared, given prison time and then released part of that was due to the plain fact that the west needed Germany due to the rising threat of the USSR and hanging many of the Nazis might have served justice but could have made things more difficult in regards to
the cold war. Sometimes pragmatism wins out over justice. It's easy to Monday morning quarterback these choices now but at the time there was a lot of concern over the issue.

    1. No, not Nuremberg, I'm talking the political trials BEFORE the Nazi were beaten.......

  7. Are you referring to the public theatre the Nazis occasionally engaged in? The faux trials they held
with preordained verdicts that occurred early in Hitler's
rule....which quickly ended when they gave up all pretense of honesty and justice.

    1. Occasionally ?? If you say so .. There were show trials throughout the Nazi years, to quell political enemy and the people themselves the the regime didn't agree with, just like today !!!!!

  8. By occasionally I mean they did hold such show trials but more often than not they couldn't be bothered. In the early d s they occurred more often, as time passed and the Nazis cemented their grip on power the cut back and eventually ceased with 'trial'. They dropped the pretense of legality and showed the true face of power. We are seeing the early stages of that here.
